The province of Macerata in Le Marche has many faces: the rough landscape of the Apennines that devide Le Marche from Umbria, the soft strolling hills that seem to be covered by a patchwork quilt thanks to the variety of vegetation and crops, the small artistic centre's and Medieval villages with art treasures, furthermore Roman, Romanesque en Gotic architecture, and exuberant Renaissance and Baroc cities, and also the rural traditions, and ofcourse the coast at the Adriatic sea with it's beautiful beaches and seaside places.
