Where we are

We are situated in Marche, Italy. The excursions and courses are held from the Caravanserraglio agriturismo. Marche is definitely worthwhile to be discovered! It is situated in the pristine site of Umbria, hidden between the Apennines and the Adriatic sea.

We have the province of Marche at our fingers ends and we can open doors of churches, monuments and collections, which otherwise remain closed.

THE TRIP TO ITALY

By Airplain

The cheapest way to fly is from London to Ancona Falconara with Ryanair. It takes 1 hour to reach the Caravanserraglio agriturismo from the Ancona Airport (see 'By Car' point 2-3). Ancona Airport has national and international flights from Rome, Milan, München, Paris etc. You can rent a car and pick it up at the Ancona Airport. Website Ancona-Airport

There're cheap flights on Rome and Milan. The airport of Rome is about three hours driving from the Caravanserraglio Agriturismo.

You can also fly on Bologna, Rimini or Forli. About 2 hours driving from the Caravanserraglio agriturismo.

By car

The fastest way to reach Italy by car is taking the route Germany-Switzerland. At the Swiss border you can pay for the motorway (ca.25,00 euro>, valid for 1 year). In Italy you need to pay for the motorway tolls when you leave the motorway (Milan-Civitanova Marche ca.25,00 euro). When you have arrived in Italy follow Milan and after that Bologna. From Bologna take Autostrada Adriatica A14 direction Ancona/Bari/Pescara.

At the Autostrada Adriatica A14 direction Bari/Pescara take the exit Civitanova Marche. Then take the Superstrada direction Macerata-Foligno; exit Tolentino Ovest.

At the exit turn right, after ca. 100 metres another right, following the indication Serrapetrona. Before reaching the village of Serrapetrona (after about ten minutes) there’s a crossing of three roads. About 20 metres before the crossing, to the left, there’s a small road with a sign-board of Caravanserraglio. Welcome!

Coming from Rome Take the A1 direction Perugia Foligno. After Assisi folow the directions for Macerata. Ones you are on the strada Statale 77 of Colfiorito, direction Macerata, take the exit Tolentino Ovest. See point 3 above.

By train

The nearest big railway station is at Civitanova Marche. There's a direct train connection Milan-Civitanova Marche. From Civitanova Marche you can take the train to Tolentino. Call us when you have arrived at the station of Tolentino, we will come to pick you up. Look for the timetable at the website: www.trenitalia.it.  

Rent a car

To be able to move freely in the area it is a must to have a car. At most airports you can directly pick up a rental car. For information and on-line bookings you can visit the websites of: AVIS , HERTZ and NATIONAL MAGGIORE.
